In Memory of Anna

Sadly, Anna Rewt, who is the goaltender for our Bantam Blue team this season passed away suddenly as the result of an accident. 
Anna has played hockey with our Bantam and Midget divisions for the past 8 years.  Many of you know Anna as the very quiet, unassuming and tiny girl who loved to play hockey and chose the scariest position in the game to become passionate about.  Those who watched her play were always in awe of her strength and courage to stand in a net and take shots from some very big and strong players without so much as flinching no matter how fast that puck was coming at her.  Anna was a true team player and never refused when asked to fill in for another team.
We will miss Anna at Weston and on behalf of Weston Minor Hockey League, I extend condolences to her family, friends, coaches and teammates.
